The Incomparable Shi-yin Series Series Overview

The series opens by following Shi-yin, a thirty-one-year-old Chinese woman, as she boards an East Indiaman in Guanzhou (Canton) in 1829, as a passenger to Plymouth, England, on her way to York Factory on the Hudson Bay in Canada. Through a series of lucid dreams, Shi-yin was acquainted with an egalitarian native village on Lake Athabasca in Canada, and felt drawn to make the journey.

Shi-yin grew up at the Shaolin Monastery on Mount Sung, in Honan Province southeast of Loyang. Although her father is a householder and not a monk, he and his family were invited to the Shaolin Monastery so he could teach the sudden enlightenment method of the sixth Patriarch of Ch’an Buddhism, Wei-lang. Ch’an had declined after the Sung period, then went through admixture with Pure Land Buddhism during the Ming Dynasty, almost ceasing to exist. The sudden enlightenment method had been imported by Japan as Zen Buddhism where it was thriving, though it had become rare indeed in China.

Shi-yin studied and mastered Ch’an meditation and contemplation, chi kung, and the five styles of Shaolin kung fu: Crane, Snake, Leopard, Tiger and Dragon. Her maternal grandfather, Master Chen, taught her the Chen family tradition of T’ai Chi Ch’uan. As a child, Shi-yin taught her friend, Yang Fu-k’uei—whom everyone called Lu-ch’an—the Chen family T’ai Chi Ch’uan solo form, and her grandfather subsequently adopted him as a student. Once Yang Lu-ch’an developed his own Yang style from the Chen style T’ai Chi Ch’uan, he taught it to Shi-yin.

Shi-yin also mastered the Vajrayana Buddhist tantra that came to China from Tibet during the Tang Dynasty, and she became an adept in esoteric Taoism. She is recognized in China as a master of the Five Excellences: Painting, Poetry, Calligraphy, Medicine and T’ai Chi Ch’uan. Shi-yin burned the midnight oil and memorized the six classics and four books of Confucianism in the ancient Chinese ideograms which bear little resemblance to contemporary speech in China, becoming a Confucian Master. She speaks ancient Chinese, Mandarin, Cantonese, pinyin, and while volunteering as an emergency physician on the southeastern coast following a terrible storm, she learned to speak English.

On her journey upon the East Indiaman, the Oriental Harvest, Shi-yin serves in the ship’s surgery during a storm, saving a sailor’s arm from amputation by the ship’s surgeon, managing pain with acupuncture needles, expertly setting bones, and putting patients to sleep with acupuncture. The ship’s owner becomes one of her patients. Shi-yin falls in love with a wealthy Frenchman who is a passenger on the ship. She adopts a five-year-old orphan Zulu girl in Cape Town and has to defend herself and her daughter from three local robber-murderers, which she manages flawlessly. This incident draws great interest from the crew in kung fu, and she begins teaching classes.

Becalmed near the equator on the west coast of Africa, Shi-yin teaches the crew and officers how to swim. She does a healing with the ship’s captain employing dried psilocybin mushrooms from Purple Mushroom Mountain in China, helping him to resolve and pacify a chronic grieving sense of loss, and this leads to another session with some of the ship’s officers along with the ship’s owner and Shi-yin’s family (husband and daughter) using psilocybin mushrooms.

The ship-owner, Lord Thornby, becomes Shi-yin’s student after having his first awakening on the mushrooms, and he places the ship at her disposal. This affords Shi-yin and her family the opportunity to visit her husband’s estate in Marceille, France, where she meets a master of Helveti and Suhrawardi Sufism, with whom she studies. Across a number of harrowing adventures Shi-yin, along with her family and entourage, eventually make it to the Athabascan native village on the southwest shore of Lake Athabasca, and she and her husband join the village and tribe by making a partner exchange with Winter Flower and Playing Lynx. By this time, Shi has learned to speak French and Athabascan Dene.

Shi-yin makes four more voyages brought to life by the seven novels of the series, and she masters Sufism, Martinism (Alchemy, Tarot, Kabbalah), the Naro Chodrug (Six Yogas of Naropa), Dzogchen, Mahamudra and Shamanism of the central Amazon. She teaches the tantra of Mi-tsung (Japanese Shingon) with the deity Budong Mingwang (Japanese Fudo) and meditations upon the Five Dhyani Buddhas. She teaches Taoist Sexology, Alchemy and Contemplation, plus numerous systems of chi kung. She teaches Ch’an meditative absorption. She learns about Ashtanga Yoga (Raja Yoga), the eight-limbed yoga system of Patanjali. She meets a Somapa in India and is guided through the Rig Veda soma ceremony on the elixir of immortality (blue lotus and blue water lily). She learns the preparations and experiences the entheogens iboga, diviner’s sage, Ayahuasca vine and chacruna leaves, reed canary grass extract and others.

Shi-yin founds an Academy of meditation, contemplation, chi kung and martial arts, somewhat like Plato’s Academy or the Sufi Orders. She studies Plato and Neoplatonism with her husband, and she recognizes that Plotinus and Chandrakirti (of the Madhyamika School of Buddhism) employ many of the same metaphors, and that Plotinus’ formulation of ‘the One, the Nous, and the Soul’ is metaphysically identical to the Mahayana doctrine of the Trikaya (Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, Nirmanakaya). She recognizes that Plato and Neoplatonism are Mind-Only traditions, and that the ancient Greeks held a similar view to the Bodhisattva Vow, which is one of the distinguishing features between Hinayana and Mahayana Buddhism. She learns that the conquests of Alexander the Great established ancient Greek philosophy and Hellenistic culture as far as western India, and was able to identify the perennial philosophy and theology.

Shi-yin sees slavery after being shipwrecked on the coast of South Carolina and has much to say about it, becoming an avid Abolitionist. She observes the plight of the Native Americans, and identifies with them after becoming a member of the tribe and village. She sees the imperial spread of colonization and conquest of native peoples on three continents and the radical disparity of wealth instigated by the rich capitalists, conceiving these as a spreading disease.

Shi-yin learns about Christianity as a second-hand spiritualty without meditation practice and a broken metaphysics. In 325 AD at the Council of Nicaea, Emperor Constantine made up a new word (homoousios), meaning consubstantial, and insisted upon imposing it as an imperial edict for defining the double-nature (divine and human) of Jesus. Mysticism becomes impossible under the new creed. Every Mystic of Christianity thereafter became a heretic, and most were hunted down and put to death by the Inquisition.

Watching Dwelling, Shi-yin’s daughter of her body, is a Tulku, or one who chooses rebirth in order to lead others to enlightenment, and not by necessity, having broken the wheel of samsara (ignorance, suffering) or the wheel of birth-life-death-rebirth. Watching Dwelling has lucid dreams, and at eight years old, she manifests a teacher in her dream state, first to transmit a mantra she is to continuously repeat internally without lapse, and later, to teach her the practices of the Dream Yoga. When she is sixteen years old, she accompanies her mother on a voyage to the Amazon, and she teaches Dream Yoga on the ship, as well as giving kungans (Japanese koans) to the senior students of her mother. At her mother’s insistence, Watching Dwelling holds a Satsang (Question and Answer session) with the senior students.

Overall, The Incomparable Shi-yin series provides an anthropology of spiritual traditions still accessible today as living traditions. The fact that the Transcendental Absolute cannot be known through words and concepts, nor through our five material senses, is brought home in numerous ways. Only by cultivating the faculty of intuitive-insight through meditation and contemplation can we have a direct experience of the Transcendental Absolute that is real and hence totally transformational. Belief is not a spiritual method. Belief is a supposition placed between oneself and the Absolute. Belief is our lowest level of consciousness, with the exception of descent into psychosis. We must break through mind-structure into the Void. Enlightenment is clarified through the seven novels of the series.

Returning to Europe with her husband and enterage on the East Indiaman placed at her disposale by her wealthy English owner, a storm drives them onto a reef leaving them shipwrecked. More than half of them survive and eventually get back to England where their wealth English patron purchases a frigate. Shi-Yin learns Martinism in Marceille, and she is joined by a Sufi who returns to the Americas with her. Further adventures find her while crossing the Atlantic.

Shi-yin grew up at the Shaolin monastery near Loyang studying, Chi Kung, Kung Fu and meditation since childhood. She also studied Taoism, T'ai Chi Ch'uan and Mi-tsung. She burned the midnight oil to memorize and embody the six classics of Confucianism. She is recognized as a master of the five excellences: painting, poetry, calligraphy, medicine, T'ai Chi Ch'aun.

After a series of lucid dreams Shi-yin sets out on a journey half way around the world to find a village of people living in equality attuned continuously to the common good. In 1829, at thirty-one years old she boards an East Indiaman in Guangzho headed for Plymouth. Her life is transformed across the journey of her quest as she transforms all within the sphere of her interactions.

In 1839 Shi-Yin and her adopted Zulu daughter and her companions journey to India to bring a great teacher of the Nyingmapa School back to their village on lake Athabasca, who is travelling south from Tibet to meet them Cawnpore. Shi-Yin encounter and Adept practitioner of the Yoga system of Patanjali and she meets a Somapa who invites her to participate in a Soma ceremony. Shi-Yin is also initiated into the Naro Chodrug and Dzogchen Ati yoga tantra by the Nyingmapa Rimpoche. She confronts two battles on her Journey back to the Native American village Meanwhile her eight year old daughter Watching Dwelling, left in the village in Canada, studies meditation, martial arts, Neoplatonism, many hours per day. She receives the mantra "OM Wagi Shori Mum" in a lucid dram from an Asian adept, then further teachings in a subsequent lucid dream.

Determined to experience Ayahuasca and Chacruna leaves entheogen and to learn it's preparation Shi-Yin and some of her companions journey up the Amazon river in a sailing launch while their ship awaits them in the estuary. They have many adventures in the Amazon, on the island of Martinique in the Caribbean, and in New York City. While awaiting her mothers return to the ship Watching Dwelling encounters a Shaman in Mazagao and is invited to a series of Ayahuasca medicine circles and taught the preparation for the entheogens.

The retirement of the her husband's financial administrators in Europe necessitates Shi-Yin's and her family's return to France and England. On this journey Shi-yin works intensively training her daughter by union, Rainbow Mist Ch'an Dharma Dueling and Dzogchen Ati Yoga Tantra. Rainbow Mist finds the love of her live on the ship they travel upon while crossing the Hudson Bay yet completes her training with Shi-yin successfully. Encounters with imperialism, heartless capitalism and colonialism starkly contrast with the egalitarian way of life the the common good of those in Shy-yin's party constituting challenging adventures. Ap post-slavery plantation owner from Martinique repeatedly attempts vengence upon Shi-Yin and her family.

An Inner and Outer Space Odyssey Synpsis

A world is presented in which humans can be found on a small percentage of yellow dwarf sun third planets and white sun forth planets. Most human populations tend to self-destruct becoming extinct—and often destroying their entire biosphere in the process—through the four killers of humanity: pollution, overpopulation, mismanagement of resources, and subsequent climate change or nuclear annihilation. The mechanism driving such tragedy is always the human ego, always only out for itself and full of the poisons (sins) of greed, anger/hatred, deceit, cravings for power and control, and insatiable lust. Human global cultures transcending ego, and hence establishing peace, unity and concern for the common good, are the only ones to develop technology long enough to attain interstellar travel.

Initially such travel is accomplished in real space via cryogenic hibernation across decades of time, and requires the invention of the Vortex Redirect and Generation Turbine for producing centripetal gravitation with all of the nurturing effects of white and yellow sun gravity so that living in space is possible indefinitely. Eventually, quantum space travel is developed utilizing quantum space drives and massive stargates at each end of the journey, so that a spaceship can enter the quantum void through one stargate, ceasing to exist as material manifestation and only as potential, to then exit through the other stargate without duration to become once again materially manifest. The human experience of passing through quantum space inevitably produces shock of nonexistence leaving one in a stupor for minutes afterwards, and repeated experiences do nothing to mitigate this shock. The most advanced quantum travel technology dispenses with stargates to employ quantum coms to establish the link to the destination, and observation to manifest materially there. Construction of stargates is the biggest project a planetary population can undertake.

The population of the white sun forth planet Om successfully matured to make it through its crisis for survival with the four killers, attaining peace and unity. Many millennia later, they were visited by a super-advanced post-humanoid race called the Amonrahonians, who gave them the emanation model of the universe, corrected their galaxy charts, demonstrated the exact curvature of space in mathematical formula, revealed the moments of discontinuity in every process, and the oscillation and precise rates of expansion and contraction across intergalactic space-time, establishing a quantum trigonometry for quantum navigation. They also foretold of invasion by an alien blue star fifth planet race in the Xegachtznel Galaxy to plunder the fusion material called solarium, which is extremely abundant at the end of the galactic tentacle which Om is located close to the end of. The people of Om were also informed that a member of their Clear Light Order and a dwarf yellow star third planet high spiritual adept would find a way to stop the alien race before it destroyed them. Thousands of years later, as the moment of the predictions draw near, Om has become the most technologically advanced Planetary population within the Hub Galaxy, and has assisted the other two inhabited planets of the tail of nine stars near the end of the longest galactic tentacle (the planets Rah and Haum), to develop quantum coms and quantum travel without stargates. The planetary systems still employing stargates are limited to spectrum encoded light coms which move only at the speed of light. Om has quantum coms conversion satellites in orbit of each planet it has an alliance with.

Om’s 28 millennia nonintervention policy regarding other inhabited star systems is called into question when a planet they are allied with is threatened by an empire within the Hub Galaxy still dependent upon stargates, called the Kundabuffer Empire, and employing the least potent nuclear fusion material. The Kundabuffer Empire is the very first example known to Om of a planetary population which had attained ego-transcendence, then slipped back into ego, exploiting and oppressing other planetary populations. Now Om is in a new situation because the planet threatened is the yellow dwarf star third planet where the high spiritual adept lives, whom they require to find a solution to the alien invasion.

The Clear Light Order monk, Pez, connects with the yellow sun third planet spiritual adept, and Om overhauls a 690-foot diameter star cruiser warship to send them on a mission to the Xegachtznel Galaxy. Pez must learn how to exit her body through her crown in her rainbow body of light, using the transference of consciousness and forceful projection meditation practices, and to weaponize this ability in order to defeat the alien Vachisy Empire while her new teacher musters meditators of planetary populations into a spiritual congress to support Pez and her allies in battle through meditation. Pez must also develop her ability to see auras, since with this power she can see soft spots in enemy forcefield shields when they are stirred up from taking fire, so she can launch missiles through such soft spots.

During her mission Pez gets married. Her spouse and a genius scientist who is a member of the Om High Council, are both captured by the aliens while exploring a blue star fifth planet upon its surface. Pez leads a small task force on a suicide mission to infiltrate the alien giant warship and rescue her spouse and the scientist. With an unorthodox plan, superior skills and a bunch of luck, the rescue is accomplished, though with the loss of most of her rescue force. While accumulating data on the alien empire and seeking allies within their galaxy, Pez must fight two small combat spacecraft battles against overwhelming odds. After the second one, Pez returns to Om for resupply and is given a 3,960-foot diameter disc-shaped super-star cruiser plus a giant auxiliary ship with armor, forcefield shields and weapons systems. Upon her return to Xegachtznel Galaxy she finds an alliance of humans and aliens opposed to the Vachisy Empire. After months of planning and preparation, the allied armada strikes and revolutions erupt throughout the empire.

In End of Thrones, before returning to Om with what she has left of the Om Star Fleet, Pez detours to dismantle the Kundabuffer Empire in her home Galaxy of Hub. Soon after returning to Om victorious, Pez is informed by her spiritual teacher that the Amonrahonians have another mission for her. She must work with the intelligence service of the planet Ahumdulilah in the White Lotus Galaxy to topple the Royal Monarch tri-galaxy Empire expanding in the Royal Galaxy, Whirlpool Galaxy and White Lotus Galaxy. Using the luxury yacht she acquired in the Kundabuffer Empire, Pez and her entourage go undercover to unite the discontented and oppressed, as members and employees of the ruling family from the planet Rocky. They distribute unbreakable one-time codes as they follow a popular music band who are topping the download sales in three galaxies on a marathon concert tour.

In Lost in Space Time, Pez’s senior student, Bodhi, and his Quantum AI Synthetic Human Android (QAISHA), are sucked through a worm hole while doing some prospecting in an Expeditionary Tug Utility Spaceship. While seeking any tangible reference as to their location in the universe, they find a planet at war with itself which has its biosphere in process of collapse. They decide to help, intervening to prevent a nuclear war, then forcing nine countries to dismantle their nuclear arsenals. They transfer technology—particularly for fusion clean energy—and they mine fusion materials within this solar system which they refine on their spaceship. They also find a pristine yellow sun third planet with no humans on it, and assist in the construction of two stargates so the population of the dying planet can migrate. Following this multi-year project, Bodi and the crew he has accumulated find a planet with a stargate whose population has successfully mitigated the crisis of survival of the four killers of humanity to attain its unity. In getting to know some of the people of this planet, called Ground, Bodhi discovers a taskforce of spaceships headed for this planet in real space and about 14 months from arrival. Jumping out to intercept these ships, he finds that they are stargate construction ships and warships coming to conquer Ground. Bodhi’s people and the population of Ground construct a large warship to liberate the planets enslaved by the Nafs Ammara Empire that sent the invasion fleet. While defeating this empire and liberating its enslaved planets, Bodhi discovers a far more dangerous threat by a population living entirely on spaceships, called the Consumere, who go to inhabited planets to entirely deplete all resources. The Consumere mother ship is a 1,200 miles diameter sphere. Bodhi organizes the liberated planets and other planets he has become affiliated with, to produce a space fleet capable of defending against this threat, and he establishes a spiritual congress to support his force in battle.

Illumination Out of the Dark Ages is contemporaneous with Lost in Space Time. Pez is charged with yet another mission from the Amonrahonians, who seem to be directing her life as if she is their Avatar in a hologram game. Pez must go to the surface of a violet star fifth planet with a human population yet in the midst of their iron age, to an empire tyrannically ruled by a faux religion of irrational dogma and no methodology in terms of meditation, contemplation, alchemy or theurgy. She must clarify for the people of this empire the difference between belief and gnosis (knowing directly in experience). At best, belief affords second-hand spirituality with no transformational value. Pez initiates multiple social movements including teaching literacy—since only the clergy are permitted to learn how to read, awakened travelling minstrels, Court Jesters, translating and circulating authentic spiritual texts from other cultures of this planet and earlier times of the region of this empire of religious tyranny; the invention of the telescope (to demonstrate that this planet is not the center of the universe, but just one of many orbiting the sun), and a movement towards religious reformation. At her disposal in orbit of the planet is her yacht and an Om Auxiliary Ship which can manufacture whatever Pez needs, and mine materials on the surface with ore-mining spacecraft. Pez organizes an empire-wide 12-hour meditation with specific instructions, employing psilocybin mushrooms and supported by over a trillion participants of the intergalactic spiritual congress. She also works with some local spiritual adepts she meets to develop a methodology involving a set of cards employed as meditation objects composed of symbols, alchemy, and ten hierarchically arranged emanations connected by 22-lines displayed in a diagram.

In The Dominari Conformity Pez is again recruited by the Amonrahonians and supported by an allied armada, to bring down an empire spanning two galaxies that are connected by a bridge of stars called the BiVortex Galaxies. The Dominari Conformity Empire employs every type of mind control to rule the populations of 12,493 human inhabited planets. Only one out of every 240-million people is an owner ruler or family member of one, and the rest are living in abject poverty. The empire has 94,000 combat spaceships. Pez arrives with 550 combat spaceships. With the things the spiritual adepts can do in battles, with finding allies within the BiVortex Galaxies, capturing and refitting enemy warships, and overhauling warships from the tri-galaxies’ mothball fleet, Pez is able to continuously grow her armada while diminishing that of the empire. The support of the spiritual congress is crucial, and Pez’s 14-year-old daughter—the Mu who reincarnates by choice every 2,500-years to bring new teachings to humanity—takes over the spiritual congress to lead it in support of her mother during space battles.

At the conclusion of the war in the BiVortex Galaxies, Pez’s 14-year-old daughter, Electra, decides she must accelerate her development by taking on negative consequences (karma) to transmute into wisdom-compassion. She springs her friend, Larry, from his school at the Adamantine Will Monastery, and she ‘barrows’ the space shuttle of the Om Ambassador to the planet Mother in the Whirlpool Galaxy where Electra attends school at the Mother’s Compassionate Guardians Monastery. They are headed to the planet Vax Legas in the Royal Galaxy to elope, since it is the only planet in the known universe where they can get married at 14-years-old. Electra’s Early Adventures is a coming-of-age novel loaded with adventures as well as spiritual processing and development.

The Psychopaths of the Maxom Empire opens with Electra coming out of her solitary meditation retreat after spending three years, three months and three days meditating within a tiny cell. The Amonrahonians have given Pez another mission, to take down yet another atrocious empire causing human suffering on a cosmic scale. The characters from the previous six novels are brought together for a galactic liberation supported by two trillion adept meditators from nine galaxies participating in the spiritual congress.

For months the Tail of nine stars system had been preparing a mission to the Xegachtznel Galaxy to stop the Alien Vachasy empire and its prodigious expansion , enslaving planetary populations of its own of its own race while committing genocide on white and yellow start inhabited planets. The advanced race of post-humanoid Amonrahhonians, who had given Om its current galaxy maps and emanation model of the universe. They had warned that the Vachisy Empire would discover the Tail of Nine Stars’ Solarium deposits and attempt to exterminate the biospheres of its three inhabited planets star systems. Now the new problem had just arisen with the far lower-tech Kundbufer Empire in their own galaxy of Hub about to attack and enslave the Ganahar system of the Raster Republic. A person vital to the Xegachtznel was living in Ganahar. This person vital to the Xegachtznel mission was living in Ganahar. This person is a warrior monk of the Clear Light order on OM were crucial to the finding a way to stop the Vachesy Empire, of more than 1,100 enslaved inhabited planets

Returning victorious Xegachtznel Galaxy Pez directs the Om Star Fleet to the planetary system of VOX in their home galaxy of Hub to liberate it from the Kundabuffer Empire. Her next stop is the planet Kundabuffer to end its enslavement of 188 inhabited planets. Once Pez eventually gets the fleet back home to Om Sarhi the Im reveals another mission Pez must undertake to find a way to topple the Royal Monarch Empire proliferating in the tri galaxy cluster of Royal, Whirlpool and White Lotus galaxies. She is directed to Allies of the planet Ahumdulilah in the White Lotus Galaxy to prepare for her undercover mission on Aphrodite, an armed yacht she'd picked up in the Kundabuffer system. After more than nine months of distributing 1-time unbreakable encryption code books to malcontents and fomenting revolution, Om and its allies send an armada to support the war efforts and rebellions spreading throughout the enslaved planets of the Tri-Galaxy Empire, culminating in the biggest space battle known to any of them.

Pez's senior disciple, Bodhi, gets drawn through a worm whole while prospecting in his Expeditionary Tug Utility ship to become lost in space-time. He is accompanied by his Quantum AI humanoid android, or QAISHA. Together they seek a planetary population with interstellar travel and end up assisting a planet on the verge of biosphere collapse to migrate to a pristine yellow sun third planet 28 light years away. Next, they discover a planet population that has attained moral anarchy and is about to be invaded by an Empire still dependent upon star-gates for travel between stars. In the process of liberating the enslaved planets of this empire, they discover the people of Pronotavasmi, who are advancing along the path of the Amonrahonian race and learn of a dire threat to all of the planetary systems they had become affiliated with. The threat is from the people who call themselves the Comsumere, and who thrive on raping the resources of inhabited yellow and white sun planets. Bodhi must stop them.

Pez is tasked with raising an iron-age empire with a faux religion with no mysticism, on a violet sun fifth planet, out of its dark ages of ignorance and contradictory dogma, as it functions as a temporal absolute tyranny committing every conceivable crime against humanity. She has her spaceship yacht and a Star Fleet extra-large Auxiliary Factory space ship with a full complement of crew at her disposal. She must travel upon the planet surface by horse seeking local allies, and she must implement a holistic approach of numerous social movements including awakened travelling minstrels, Court Jesters, teaching literacy, authentic spiritual texts from other cultures on the planet to circulate, the invention of the telescope, religious reformation and much more. She also teaches meditation and contemplation practices to cultivate the faculty of intuitive insight--the only possible way to authentically experience directly the Absolute Transcendental.

Pez is recommissioned as the Supreme Commander General of Om's Star Fleet and Commander of the allied space fleets for the mission of liberatind the populations of 12,493 human-inhabited planets in tow lose large galaxies connected tby a bredge of stars.
